Huntsville Grand Opening Media Relations Program

When Cabela’s was hunting for an agency to cover media relations for their first store opening in Alabama, we knew we’d be the perfect catch. We aimed our sights at our target—to prepare the 75th Cabela’s store and staff for their media day and grand opening—and, if you ask us, we definitely hit the bull’s eye. With simulated interviews directed by an actual reporter, the graduates of the McComm Media Boot Camp were ready to reel in great responses. We even broke out our field guide of media contacts to make sure all local print, radio, and television news outlets had a great shot at covering this wall hanger of a story.
